Priam is a dessert apple developed in Lafayette, Indiana through deliberate crossing and introduced in 1971. The fruit features greenish-yellow skin striped or blushed with red, creamy white crisp flesh with subacid flavor, and ripens around the same time as Cortland. It is best harvested about a week before Delicious and stores well from October through January.
