Laxton's Superb is a classic British dessert apple from Bedfordshire, raised in 1897 and introduced in 1922. A cross of Cellini and Cox's Orange Pippin, it features a green skin with a dull red flush and firm texture, though it is not a strong juice producer. The variety is prone to apple scab and exhibits biennial bearing tendencies.
