Crab
Hyslop is a large crabapple with brilliant dark red or purplish skin covered in thick blue bloom, borne in clusters. The vigorous, very hardy tree is a reliable biennial or annual cropper, well-suited for both home and market use. The fruit has firm, subacid, astringent flesh good for culinary purposes, ripening in late September and October.
