Hilaire

Hilaire is a Quebec-origin apple resembling Fameuse in appearance but with a more sprightly, acidic flavor and superior keeping qualities. The flesh is crisp, tender, and juicy. In Michigan trials it proved hardy and productive, though it is not currently grown in its region of origin or in New York.
