A valued dessert apple of first quality with yellowish skin marked with red stripes on the sunny side and dull yellow-green on the shaded side. The flesh is crisp, juicy, rich, and sugary with flavor reminiscent of Ribston Pippin. It matures in November and stores until March, grown on paradise stock as an espalier or open dwarf.
