Autumn Bough
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
Autumn Bough is regarded as one of the best sweet apples of its season, suitable for both fresh eating and cooking. The medium-sized, upright tree is vigorous, healthy, and reliably productive, though the fruit does not ship well and is rarely grown commercially today. The apple has pale yellow skin, white tender flesh, and a rich, sweet, sprightly flavor.
