Saint Edmund's Pippin
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
An early English russet raised by Mr. Harvey in the 1870s near Bury St. Edmunds, notable for its distinctive scaly russet patches mixed with smooth skin. The yellow flesh is very juicy with vanilla and pear notes, making it suitable for fresh eating from September through October.
