Nonsuch
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
An old variety well known in the South and Middle West, reliable bearer producing moderately heavy crops. The fruit hangs well, develops good color, and keeps late, with yellowish flesh that is somewhat coarse, tender, and juicy with mild subacid flavor approaching sweet. Not recommended for planting in New York due to unsatisfactory quality.
