Breedon Pippin
Malus domestica Borkh. Borkh.
Dessert
A small, roundish-oblate dessert apple with deep dull yellow skin tinged with reddish orange and brown russet. The firm, yellowish flesh offers a rich, vinous, brisk flavor reminiscent of pineapple, in season October–November. Raised at Bere Court, Berkshire, this hardy, slender-growing tree is an excellent bearer well suited to dwarf training on paradise stock.
